I AM CONVINCED THAT THIS NATION WILL NOT BE PRESERVED UNLESS THERE IS A GREAT AWAKENING. I AM PRAYING FOR THE GREATEST AWAKENING

THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED IN THIS NATION. LIKE NENIVAH IN THE BIBLE WITH JONAH , THAT NATION REPENTED AND THEY CHANGED THEIR WAYS.

I AM PRAYING FOR A NATION THAT WOULD LIVE FOR LIKE THE VOICE OF MARTYRS OR GOSPEL FOR ASIA THAT ARE HEARTS ARE IN REACHING THE

WORLD FOR JESUS. AND THAT THE CHURCH BE THE GOVERNMENT AND NOT THE GOVERNMENT BE THE CHURCH WHEN IT COMES TO HELPING PEOPLE.

MORE CHURCH LESS GOVERNMENT. WHEN THERE IS AN AWESOME REVIVAL YOU WILL SEE SUCH COMPASSION IN THE CHURCH BECAUSE THAT COMPASSION

WILL BE THE COMPASSION OF CHRIST AND WE WILL BE DEVOTED TO JESUS WITH HIS PASSION .

"Knowing the terror of the Lord" (a thing seemingly forgotten in our day both by pulpit and pew), Edwards smoldered with holy wrath. Impervious to any consequences of such severity, he thundered these words from his pulpit:

"The bow of God's wrath is bent, and His arrows made ready upon the string. Justice points the arrow at your heart and strings the bow. It is nothing but the mere pleasure of God (and that of an angry God without any promise or obligation at all) that keeps the arrow one moment from being made drunk with your blood."

Revival is a renewed conviction of sin and repentance, followed by an intense desire to live in obedience to God. It is giving up one's will to God in deep humility.                                                                                                                                                                   Charles Finney

Does it grieve you my friends, that the name of God is being taken in vain and desecrated? Does it grieve you that we are living in a godless age...But, we are living in such an age and the main reason we should be praying about revival is that we are anxious to see God's name vindicated and His glory manifested. We should be anxious to see something happening that will arrest the nations, all the peoples, and cause them to stop and to think again.

Meet the divine conditions
Revivals are supernatural demonstrations of God's power. When will we learn to let God work in His own way? When will we spend more time in seeking to know what His way is than we do in devising human plans and methods which only bring us a sense of failure and loss? We need a revival. The church needs a revival. The world - hungry, restless, sin-cursed, dying - needs a revival. God wants us to have it. Let us make every effort to meet the divine conditions and let us expect Him to answer by fire.

Increasing frequency - or certain judgement
It is most significant that since the Reformation, revivals have recurred with increasing frequency. Again and again God has rescued that which had gone beyond all human aid: what could have saved the church but these gracious interventions of almighty power? The need can but grow more urgent as the age draws to its close. When revivals cease to flow from the mercy of God, judgement must come.
