A WARRIOR mom to a 13-year-old child with multiple disabilities including autism.  He is nonverbal, knows only a few sign language signs.  I work full-time telecommuting (for 20 years).  I've been married to my first (and only) husband for 16 years now.  My passions are about issues of social justice (warrior mom), education, politics, swimming, golden retrievers.  I am a huge movie buff.  My favorite television shows fall into the "sci-fi category" (Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, the new Stargate Universe, Heroes, Sanctuary, Battlestar Galactica, Jericho, Farscape, Lost).  I also love 24 and Fringe and shows like American Idol, Top Chef, Project Runway, Top Design, So You Think You Can Dance, Lost and Lie To Me.  Had a few things published in my past, but nothing big.  Was part of the Your Family Matters segment live on Fox on Thursdays at 5:00-5:30 (but it was cancelled (bummer). I've been with the Fox 26 blogging community since April 2007.  I recently joined the chat community for www.myfoxhoustonlive.com and try to get on the chat during the newscasts as my schedule allows.
